Legacy Dental FAQs
Choosing a dentist can be as stressful for some as actually going to the dentist. Below are some suggestions about what to consider when selecting a dentist. We’d also suggest asking a friend or relative or the local branch of the Academy of General Dentistry for a recommendation.

We understand your concern about the cost of dental treatment in Salt Lake City and we want to be an affordable dentist. Dentistry can be expensive. We can help.

That’s a good question. The answer is, “Probably.” There are hundreds of dental insurance companies that offer multiple plans. The plans change every year. It’s nearly impossible for us to keep track of every program, but we do our best.
We strive to work with patients with nearly every plan.
Before your visit, we will call your insurance company for you and find out how you can use your dental benefits in our office. If we learn that we can’t accept your insurance or that we can, but with some limitations, we will call you prior to your appointment.
We have many patients that choose to see us even though we don’t “accept” their insurance. The care we provide, for them, is worth the extra cost. The reason that we don’t accept every dental insurance plan is that some plan’s fees are so low that it would not allow us to provide long-lasting treatment that feels good and looks great in a kind, safe, and comfortable environment.
So, the best way to find out about your plan is to check the list below or call and give us the details, and we’ll find out for you.

With evening and Saturday dental appointments and an on-call 24-hour emergency dentist, we’re trying to be Salt Lake City’s most convenient dental office.
We do our best to make your dental treatment as convenient as possible. We are general dentists, who can provide a wide range of services including root canals, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, periodontal treatment, wisdom teeth removal, and preventive dentistry. This means more than likely you can get all your needed dental care in our office.
Here are some conveniences we provide:

We care about you. Whatever led to your current condition, we’re here to help. We became dentists to help people just like you. Every day we see patients that are embarrassed about what has happened to their teeth and successfully help them. We don’t judge. We just want to help.
With over 40 years of combined experience, we’ve helped a lot of people just like you to eat comfortably, and smile proudly after years of being unable to do so.
We realize many people avoid the dentist because of fear or anxiety and cost. We offer sedation dentistry. We do our best to provide affordable dentistry that fits your budget too.
We’d love to help you.
They are thorough and gentle and never force procedures that cause discomfort. Dr. Campbell explains his assessment clearly and gives me an active role in deciding treatment. They also make scheduling easy and give me lots of reminders as my appointment draws near.
